Okay so I've read it. Stephenie Meyers latest The Host.
I have to say first off after not reading the Twilight books for ages I've cooled down from my Stephenie Meyer fever. I sort of forgot why I ever got so hyped up.
The idea behind the host is the whole body snatching alien thing. Although the genre it sits in is quite far from anything too sci-fi. In fact TH's themes are all quite similar to Twilight. It is an almost impossible love story between two different species...stop me if this sounds all too familiar.
Despite similarities between the two books I can't help but enjoy the love triangle involving only two bodies. The characters are all endearing...even the bad ones! Which is what makes the story kind of sugar coated but hey sometimes it's good to just read a book with a sickeningly perfectly ending right?
I don't want to give too much away in case you're all going to run out and buy it after my WONDERFUL review but yeah it's a nice happy story that I wouldn't say was one of my favourite books of all time but it rates pretty well with me and I mean hey, if it gets people reading books who am I to complain right?

Hey Steph, not much of a comment to your blog... Well kinda. Was that the series of books you started reading towards the start of the year?
And now on to the real deal. I laughed at the Coffee Club picture literally. It's like Angelina and Marta moved when the picture was taken so there is a blur in the picture. So i found their faces funny.
