Just thought you all might like to know I'm working 20 hours this week......kill me now. Maybe I can work my way up to a position of power at woolworths.....lol!

Also I should change the background on this page since it doesn't match my new header sadly.
Okay since it's been about six weeks since I've written anything I thought I better write a quick post to let you all know what's going on im life atm.

I can summarise for anyone who gets bored quickly though...the answer is not a lot.

As you may or may not know, I recently got a job at good ol' Woolworths. It's alright there, except when you get crappy customers that enjoy being annoying and make life difficult for everyone. I'm the youngest one working there, there's a few people in year 12 and then like mostly everyone's in Uni. Everyone there is like super nice except for one of the supervisors who seems to really dislike me and lkikes to tell me off for stuff at every possible chance she can. But C'est la vie...

OH I've just remembered to look up those lyrics as well and it IS c'est chic. Ah k well at least I know something...also I realise Britain is not actually a country lol.

So on Friday night, we celebrated Donar and Penelope's birthday's at Savanas Restaurant. Mia, Monika, Angelina, Carlia, Jacqui, Marta and myself were there. The food there wasn't overly fantastic but they gave us massive portions and they had nice chips lol. Then we had birthday which everyone pitched in to buy. Sadly Donar didn't have the greatest experience because she had a cold and thought all the food tasted funny.

After dinner, Mia, Monika, Ange, Donar and myself walked over to the cinemas and watched The Dark Knight. I have to say I seriously underestimated Heath Ledger because I thought it was all talk about his great performance just as a sort of pity thing because he died. But he was fantastic and even as the bad guy I totally loved the Joker, he just had that je ne sais quoi.

Ahhh below are photos of the night's romping. We were outside and I kiiiind of froze my ass off because I wore a skirt thinking it wouldn't get cold IN a restaurant. How silly of me.

Okay well thats it from me for now.

Ciao, Steph
Steph's Busy Day

So once upon a time there was this uber chick called Steph and the guys wanted to be her and the girls thought they could change her (or maybe vice versa SIMPSONS QUOTE PEOPLE)

And anyway Stephanie woke up on the morning of the 18th June 2008 in a blind panic as she had such an eventful day. First off she had to wake up extremely early because she had extension maths which ran fairly smoothy smooth as it regularly does. But when she woke up she remembered SHE IS DONATING BLOOD TODAY. Scary I know. So she had a big breakfast comprised of weet-bix, juice, tea and toast. She also drank large quantities of water throughout the day, so much that she had to pee three times during class time at school.

First two periods the Steph had english. Today happened to be the day in english where they decided to have a listening test. And Steph happened to do okay, or at least she thinks she did. Then there was double French-ness and more in-class peeing.

At lunch the Steph left for the blood bank and she was pretty much scared shitless. So she actually got there believe it or not and filled out the forms and got weighed and had her blood pressure taken etc. Then came the scary little needle they prick your finger with to test iron or some such thing. The Steph passed. and then they took her through to THE room. andshe sat down and freaked out lots, the lady taking her blood was super nice though and she was sitting there with a GREAT MASSIVE METAL TUBE coming out of her arm and she kept asking if the Steph was okay was okay which she was and they were like three quarters of the way through and the lady is like are you okay? and and the steph says yer...it's normal to feel like a little dizzy right? and shes like NO :O and the steph thinks she is dying (the man said that was okay since there was a cemetary right across ther road) and so she has to stop taking the Steph's blood and INVERT the Steph so her legs are higher than her head which was especially embarassing as all her nice friends came and laughed for support not to mention there was a cute guy working there. 15 minutes later the Steph is set free and gets to eat chocolate and jellybeans free from blood donating terror.

BUT THERE WAS TERROR YET TO COME. The Steph had a job interview which was equally stressful as the blood donating which went for about 45 minutes until the Steph came out on the top and nice Libra informed her that she would be recommending the Steph as she was the most awesome for the job.

The Steph was getting quite emotional as the day was not one of her favourites and she still had to go home and finish her food tech assignment (which she is about to do right now)

So Peace out kids

Steph the (not only just) Spectacular

PS Shame on you Tommothy as I have donated blood before you =P

The Host....The Verdict

Okay so I've read it. Stephenie Meyers latest The Host.

I have to say first off after not reading the Twilight books for ages I've cooled down from my Stephenie Meyer fever. I sort of forgot why I ever got so hyped up.

The idea behind the host is the whole body snatching alien thing. Although the genre it sits in is quite far from anything too sci-fi. In fact TH's themes are all quite similar to Twilight. It is an almost impossible love story between two different species...stop me if this sounds all too familiar.

Despite similarities between the two books I can't help but enjoy the love triangle involving only two bodies. The characters are all endearing...even the bad ones! Which is what makes the story kind of sugar coated but hey sometimes it's good to just read a book with a sickeningly perfectly ending right?

I don't want to give too much away in case you're all going to run out and buy it after my WONDERFUL review but yeah it's a nice happy story that I wouldn't say was one of my favourite books of all time but it rates pretty well with me and I mean hey, if it gets people reading books who am I to complain right?

Much Love

Anyone up for Charlie the Unicorn 2?

Just a quick on to say HEY check it out, Stephanie's got herself an actual layout. Yes kids the rumours are true.

Anyway I'd like to say the name of this blog Coffee Club was bodaciously made up by MIA and I needed to give her credit (Even though the name was not completely originally hers but what ev.)
I have quite a bit of homework oh and Mrs Wood wants me to make some principles morning tea all day Tues/Wed but I really don't want to miss out on two days of school work, that sound prissy but seriously catching up is hard work. Oh and also double english is going to be cool.

I any of you were wondering... The Wombats are coming to the Land of Aus in August and tickets are like 50 bucks I'd really like to go but its on a Tuesday.

Hm, I'll write more later

Steph
Hey kids

Just got back from our school camp..okay well i got back yesterday but same difference right. I thought it was okay. Everyone complained about the food which I really didn't think was THAT horrible I mean it's a camp you can't exactly expect a five star meal. Here's what we had:

Day 1
Lunch: Burrito things (mine fell apart), fruit
Dinner: Roast dinner choice of beef lamb or pork (Pumpkin had gross seasoning)berry jelly

Day 2
Breakfast: Toast, Cereal (Weetbix, Just Right, Sultana Bran) Fruit, Yoghurt
Lunch: Sandwiches (I had Chicken, Cheese and Lettice), Poppers, Museli Bars (Ate at Archery site)
Dinner: Some chicken stir fry thing with rice and beans, mousse

Day 3
Breakfast: Pretty much the same as the day before
Lunch: Potato Frittata thing with salad, bread roll, fruit

Activities we did were Archery, Ropes course, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Canoing/Kayaking. All pretty good. Then there was the disco of course which I keep hoping I wasn't too embarrassing at...

There were a few dramas. It was pretty ironic really. A camp designed to bring our year group together not only failed but almost went backwards. Let me explain. On the first night, these girls went into our cabin and stole like all our lollies and food FROM MIA'S SUITCASE. We weren't in the room at the time because we were visiting people and the state of origin was on blah blah blah.

Anyway Me and Donar were walking back to our cabin when two girls WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS go running past us with OUR STUFF so I was pretty angry....I went after them but I lost her and I found Marta and we went to try and find Mrs Dunbar

and I won't bore you with the rest of the gory details but pretty much we got our stuff back because they didn't want us to DOB They tried to tell us the boys were the ones that stole it until they realised Donar and I had seen them! and then the story changed to someone had done it to them so they did it to us...real mature kids. But Clearly we were in the wrong because we can't take a joke.

Later on they were all in this huge group running in and out of people's cabins and they were heading up to the end where out cabin was and I was like oh great they're going to our cabin again and Miss Piggy (you know who I mean) was behind me and she says
"They aren't going to your cabin, just relax they're going to < insertnameofmindlessbimbodronehere >'s for the party...and if you were cool enough you'd be invited"

Well didn't that just take the cake. It pissed me off further that they would even think we would WANT to go to their party. FYI I pretty much disagree with anything you do and you need to get your head out of your ass.

Anyway don't be deceived I really did have a good time but I really wish those girls didn't need to involve us in their stupid "joke" Photos now? Yes?

I have HEAPS more photos so yer whoever wants them ill give you a disc lol

Red Shield Appeal tomorrow
Bye for now

Missing Blake

Okay so as you can see I have totally slacked off on the blog front.

I started changing the layout but I got lazy and I haven't finished yet. Don't worry kids, I'm working on it.

I've been totally Blake missing for like three weeks now but I have been receiving a few text messages from The Blake himself. I have no idea how much that's costing =P

Even though I said I wouldn't, I've been watching Big Brother. Ben is my favourite housemate ^_^ Cause he's really cute and funny. But I don't get to see much of him so I'm a bit worried about how long he'll survive. Hate Rory, the chauvinistic pig that seems to pride himself in having slept with 70 women. Oh but that's just a guess he couldn't be totally sure. What an ass. I'm feeling a bit sorry for Corey being in the house. He seems to be much more reserved and quiet than I think everyone expected. ANd I definitely don't hate the kid especially since I think what happened to him could have happened to anyone and even if he isn't really proving people opinions of him to be wrong I think he was given a rough time and judged too harshly by the media. He also has really nice eyes =P ...ugly eyebrows though....

The past two weeks have been surprisingly good. I've been doing my half yearly exams and I think I went okay in everything. MAJORLY stuffed up in French FORGETTING what I was going to say in the speaking test.

I already got my Hospitality theory exam back. I got 94%. I'm pretty sure I got 100% on my practical so yay. More results will be revealed when I get them back. I have to write a speech for Friday which I've been avoiding like the plague. HATE speeches

Back to early Maths tomorrow morning too. Early mornings are getting colder and more unfriendly.

Will Stephanie survive early morning Maths? Has she failed French? More importantly what is she wearing to Carlia's party?
All will be revealed in the next installment of Stephanie's Blog.

Just a quick one to update you folks on my life. Lately school has been ruling my life.I had two tests today. I had to write a letter in French and I had a test in Hospitality, I'm pretty sure I went okay in French but in hospitality I'm not that confident. A few weeks ago I did an extension maths test and FAILED. But then on my Advanced test I got full marks (Practically) I lost one mark because I didn't set out a question the way the other classes' teacher wanted it to be done. I still got the right answer, as far as I'm concerned I got 100%! =P Since the advanced class apparently did horribly on this test I'm gonna say I think Extension is actually helping me for the Advanced work but Extension I still suck. Oh yer and chemistry test oh geez I guess like all of it...but then she gave me a merit cert. for it so I'm thinking everyone just sucks in our class.

mmm so coming up.....French test tomorrow, Chemistry practical on Wednesday and Food Tech practical on Thursday. Speeches next week too.

I'm going to try and be POSITIVE about all my sucky subjects now since complaining isn't going to help.

went to the Easter show on Wed. pics will be up when i can get the stupid usb to work.

What's been happening in the world of Steph....not much.

Life, lately, pretty much revolves around school. I mean I like school and everything, but it gets to be too much! I don't know if I ever actually posted a list of my classes on here so I will now.

Extension Maths Ugh, I thought I was doing okay but then my teacher goes and says that I am struggling with simple mathematical concepts! Because I did bad on and assignment she gave us and then she told me to get a tutor!! Like I have time for that. I barely have enough time to get all my maths homework done for her let alone all my other subjects. I could always drop but the other class is waaaay behind us and they're doing the same stuff anyway so I'll just be doing the same thing twice which in a way is good but at the same time bad. I have no idea!! I honestly thought I was going okay until she said that! anyway moving on....

French Today I had my first assessment. Speaking and listening. Slightly worried....For listening I started out good but she started getting faster and that freaked me out and I couldn't translate in my head fast enough so I dribbled on slightly at the end. For speaking......I told her I liked reading novels about armchairs....need I say more?

English Today was Mr K's last day. Sad. I think that he was pretty good but he didn't exactly plan for lessons he was more of a hippy teacher that just turned up and let whatever happen, happen. We haven't had any assessments yet though. First one is on Monday, we'll see if the results show anything

Chemistry What can I say? Need to do more independent study if I'm ever going to do any good. Practical assessment in week 10 and topic test in two weeks.

Hospitality FUNNY. I like hospitality. It's just something I know about. Unlike Chem and Maths... Sitting next to Sam is hilarious. We were doing a quiz the other day and his answers looked a little bit like this

What is Ghee? A funny word
Name three types of fruits. (Meant to be answers like stone, citrus, hard soft tropical etc.) Lemons.
Three safety precautions in the kitchen. Stay away from Steph

Food Technology Pretty much just info we learnt last year. So that's pretty dandy. Played match with Quaide the other day and we rocked! We are food tech pros now.

Anyway life in general is pretty depressing. I finished Animal Farm and 1984 and gave Michael his book back finally. Then I read 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson which rocked. I really liked it. Just started The Time Traveler's Wife. Should be good. Don't really have to time to read...or write blogs....or sleep for that matter. School is stealing my life....not that I ever had much of one :P

Piccys Below

Here's My cd, signed poster thing and stickers.

Here's Timmy's siggy!! I love Timmy lol. he's so adorable.

Today I helped Mrs Wood make cupcakes for the year six into year seven night at school. We made three hundred plus cupcakes, I think it ended up being around 355. We made the cupcakes and then I go out of sport (BOO YA) to ice them in the afternoon. I piped on the icing and then Carlia, Hayley and Simone put on our school emblems which were printed onto rice paper. They were sooooo cute. I should have taken a photo. I also ate quite a bit of icing cause I'm a fatbo but then I felt sick. Mrs Wood also said I was a pro at icing (=

Me and Angelina are stoked that Henry is still on So you think you can Dance? and we applied for tickets for one of the friday night performances in a few weeks. Fingers crossed we get them!

That's all for now lads and ladies
Tune in next week for all this and more....

Okay guys, this is some of the FUNNIEST shiznit I have ever seen. I apologise to those who watch it and just think wtf? Basically I'm apologising for my "warped" sense of humour.... IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW YOU PROBABLY WON'T GET IT. Also the bald guy (Richard O'Brien) is Riff Raff from RHPS. He also wrote the entire play/movie or whatever.

ANYWAY I don't have much else to say. I didn't get maths homework for once in my life! and I got my CHEFS UNIFORM today. It is almost as hilarious as that video clip. There's french homework that needs doing so I'll be off.

I SAT WITH SEAN AT THE SWIMMING CARNIVAL EVERYONE

SEAN IS THE COOLEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD
Dear Readers.

Last Night I went to the Tet Festival with Mia, Monika and Angelina which is basically Vietnamese New Year It was pretty fun lol I ate fairy floss and went on the spinning chair ride thing. It made me feel queezy. I'm not so hardcore. There was also fireworks but there were trees in the way which made it slightly anticlimactic. Then there was the annoying music they had in one area where they played the same song over and over and over again. I can still hear it in my head!!! We saw heaps of people from school, Steven (how annoying), Helen, Donathy and Ben B and all his friends. When we were leaving the racecourse we passed this white guy that was like "OMG WHITE PEOPLE" which made us burst into a fit of laughter.

It was soooo hard to get in and out of the racecourse. The police were blocking the road off so we had to walk all the way to Hungry Jacks to get picked up which was clearly everyone else's plan too.

Here are some photos. Me and Ang, Ang and Mon outside the port-a-loos and Mia and Monika on "The Rainbow"

On Wednesday was the swimming carnival..and of course I went. None of my friends did though! They're all bludgers. Except Carlia but she was swimming all day so she is equally crap. I sat with Josh and Joseph (AND SEAN...the most important!!) most of the day. It was freezing and windy all day and rained at one stage. I read mostly. I have finally finished all the Twilight books! I can't wait for the fourth book and movie to come out!

Naomi, Bailey, Hamish, Caitlin and Charlotte came over today. It Hamish and Caitlin's birthdays in a few days. I'm making the cake! I'll post pictures of that next week. Not much else to say so I guess that's all.

Dear Reader.

I think I'm in love. Today I had a Creme Brulee Chiller from Gloria Jeans and it was delectable!
"Smooth blend of caramel Italian syrup, white chocolate, ice, milk and fresh espresso. Blended and topped with whipped cream drizzled in soft caramel."

it was goooooooood.

LOL. We ran into the comicshop guy this afternoon outside the library and we talked about Harry Potter. He said it was too big and had too many words and not enough pictures :P If only there were Harry Potter comics! Then I headed to the post office with Angelina to send Gossip Girl to Blake. :) But not before pit stopping at Gloria Jeans to buy my new favourite Creme Brulee Chiller.

So I'm back at school now, I have been for a week and a bit.

Everything is going pretty well I suppose. Apart from the fact that my Chemistry teacher is so weird and my maths teacher won't stop giving us crazy excessive amounts of homework! Also since I'm doing extension Maths I have early morning classes which I've been having trouble getting up for :P But I'm getting used to it. Coping with all the up late nights doing maths homework and early morning math classes doing twice as much as everyone else is pretty hard. I'm definitely going to have a sleep in tomorrow!!

Food Tech is the same old really, although I don't have my super partner Carlia to work with anymore but that doesn't really matter.

In French we've been getting quite a load of work as well and I'm kind of coping, it just takes a while to get my head around all the new stuff.

In English we have a sub at the moment and I really like him! I have no idea what his name is though lol. We've started our "belonging" unit for the HSC and we're watching movies and listening to songs and reading books, all stuff that I love doing so that's swell.

It's the swimming carnival next week. And Valentines Day. I have Chemistry homework due. And maths, of course. Weekend should be fun. Possibly going out with everyone from school. Trivia Night tonight.

Big Love,

Steph
As you can see, I've been trying quite hard to blog as often as possible, with this being the third post of the year....

I promise I will try harder, if anyone's even reading all this stuff

So I read Twilight yesterday by Stephenie Meyer. I wasn't really interested in it but it's supposed to be quite good so I put my name down on the reserves list at my local library and waited until I got my chance to see what the fuss is all about. And let me tell you know, I was definitely not disappointed!!! I think I am in love with this book. I can't wait to get my hands on the next two, as well as the fourth book coming out at the end of the year. I'm not sure I can wait that long though. I tried a couple of local book stores and they don't seem to stock the second book, plenty of the third though. I don't think I can wait too long, hopefully when I get back to school they will have the next book there.

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance with a bit of humor, action and fantasy thrown in for good measure.

I went to Angelina's this afternoon, I think she liked her present which is good. I got my cupcake and got to see everyone before we went back to school. I think there's plans to see Juno on Friday and I can't wait because I'm really looking forward to seeing it since I've been waiting since November to see it!

Not much else from me ladies and gentlemen so be kind and comment me!!
Much Love

P.S Quote now? Yes.
About three things I was abosolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, part of him - and I didn't know how dominant that part may be - that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irevocably in love with him.
Only a week left of holidays people and I am not looking forward to going back to school so much. It's been raining for the past like 4 days so I haven't done much, I stayed at Naomi's for a few days though, and yesterday Angelina and I walked in the rain to the library. I finally got my hands on a copy of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer! We also went to the Comicshop lol!! I love a good trip to the comicshop, only thing is next month is the last of Angelina's comic's so we won't have an excuse to go there anymore!! Oh and I also drank coke out of a glass bottle!!! another thing I love to do when I take a trip to the library/comicshop.

Angelina's birthday on Tuesday, I'm going over tomorrow to celebrate!! There will be cupcakes! :P I also have some piles of homework and a speech to get through before school....

So now a comic for you all!!

Dearest Readers,

Thank you for taking time out of your hectic schedules to read my sporadically updated blog. Right now, it's the summer holidays and I've pretty much done nothing at all.

Tonight I did however have plans. Some days before this one occurring, Carlia sent me and email saying hey, wanna go to a club after dancing on Tuesday? Well for starters I didn't even realise dancing was already starting up again also, although I am definitely not the clubbing type, I agreed to our little soirée.

So today at 2, I headed over to Carlia's place and we got ready to dance the night away... Dancing was fun, but I borrowed a pair of Carlia's shoes and they were huge so my feet kept slipping. There were heaps of new people too. They were all related actually lol, they were nice too. After that, We drove past McDonald's to get dinner and retrieve our FREE Happy Meals from our Sports Awards won last year at dancing. Then we arrived at Club NOX, that is where we where going. BUT for some strange reason, the doors seemed to be barred, "I think we go in around the corner" Carlia says, we walk around the corner but there isn't anything there....

We start panicking a little but the Carlia's Mum comes back past and beeps so we jump back into the car to call Marta who happened to organise this event but decided not to got in the afternoon. Marta talks to the DJ and tells us that it has in fact, been cancelled. Apparently the DJ turned up at 6, ready to go and when he got in there, there was no sound or light equipment so the event has been rescheduled until next tuesday. Not sure if I'll go again.

And that concludes my not so eventful, eventful night.
I hope you kids enjoyed it, I've even given you some pictures of me and Carlia glammed up.
