do you want to get triple x groovy?

So I haven't been to school since...ohhhh THURSDAY LAST WEEK. Yeah I took the day off on Friday bad I know but seriously I couldn't handle turning up and doing nothing.

Then on Monday I had a French excursion to Leichhardt (haha yes ironic I know) but the Palace cinema was playing the film we went to see Entre les murs "between the walls" or translated to it's english title "The Class" It was pretty good but the ending was a bit "." if you get what I mean lol (i can just imagine that no one understands)

It was pretty low budget but it was kind of set like a documentary and get this, the characters all essentially play themselves. In the sense they all keep their actual names in the movie, but the children's parents are played by their parents! What I kind of took from the film (and its abrupt ending) was that things happen in schools, teachers have their different approaches to things and so do students. You can only do the best you can and at the end of the day that's what you've got.

Great lunch at the Italian forum, then we walked up the street to a little cake shop and we all went crazy buying traditional Italian dessert type things. Caught the bus back to central and we passed UTS and USyd. The grounds of USyd are sooooo nice. I can just imagine sitting under a tree reading or studying or something, much like Rory's tree in Gilmore Girls...

anyway back to reality, today was the impact leadership conference at Olympic park. Caught the train in lol and followed this girl's school from there to the sports centre (cause we were a tad disoriented) but then they stop and they're like we're going to McDonalds but you have to go that way *points in complete opposite direction to the right way* so we start heading up the way they said and Hayley was like "We were supposed to turn left on Olympic Boulevard" but we kept going until we go to the end of the street. The we realised those girls had no idea. so we walked all the way back and started heading the right way, passing the girls who seemed to be talking to another group of students. THEN the students started heading the way we just came from, IE. the wrong way and I was all "=O" So I yelled out to them "Are you going to the sports centre???" and yeah so we ended up walking over to them because yelling 50m to them was not very productive. Turns out the girls bummed steered another group

it was quite infuriating. We ended up sitting next to the other "lost" school and they were pretty nice. We called one of them Sally. (he called us sally first though) I can't say I wasn't disappointed that Hemmish and Andy were not there...bahaha the entertainment guys were a pretty good substitute though!

Swimming Carnival tomorrow. There is the whole "year 12 lap of honour" thing happening but hey what fun is that if all your friends are losers that are too lazy to come to the carnival! The weather may be off also...

Anywho so that explains why I've lost an entire week of school. Hey not as bad as when I'll be off for work experience. I'm at the hospital this year. I have decided I REALLY don't want to do anything in the cooking part of the hospitality industry. I'll keep that as a hobby.

K here's a riddle for your entertainment

You are trapped in a prison where you cannot escape any way than mentioned in this puzzle.
There are two switches that look identical. One of them kills you instantly, the other sets you free. You do not know which is which.
There are two statues that look identical. One of them always tells the truth, the other always lies. You do not know which is which.
You are allowed to ask ONLY 1 statue ONLY 1 question. ONLY the statue you ask will respond.

(statues cannot move, they only speak)

Which question will you ask to set yourself free?

(hint: the question can have a preceding statement,
Ex: if ________________, then _____________________?)
